His Mercy!!!

This Friday, I will be participating in the SSACS homeschool/Christian school Bible day competition.  My lesson is on Mercy, and I am both excited and nervous.  Here is my visual aid that I'm using to show how our sin totally outweighs anything "good" we could do. This also shows how His mercy forgives and removes our sins as far as the east is from the west, and we are then covered in His righteousness not our own. 

All we have to do is accept His free gift of unending mercy!

Trip prep

Is this true of me?  Preparing my heart for this summer...

99 days!!!

Today it is just 99 days until I touch down in the country of Peru 
in the town of Cusco where I will be working for the summer!  

I'm looking forward with eager anticipation!  

God has provided in amazing ways already for my trip.  It's exciting to know that this is something that He wants me to do.  From finding a suitcase at Good Will for very cheap, to finding clearance rack, end of winter sweaters for my cold summer :), to different babysitting opportunities, to an extra yard customer, to doing some extra housework for someone, God has definitely shown himself real in my life and current situation in preparing for this trip. 

Thank-you to all my friends that have supported me in my endeavors.  It is appreciated so much!  Also... I bought my other plane ticket the other day.  Rachel, the one I'm working with had to buy it in Peru because it is on a local airline.  This flight will take me from the capital of Lima to the smaller town of Cusco.  All my flights are now purchased! :-)
